Sean Johnson’s email stated:
To All:
In past years I did not listen or watch much about the run for presidency. I have been paying more attention this year, but this is only the second time I have been eligible to vote. I read what Kerry wrote and I could not agree more. I conducted a bit of a survey for my personal benefit to hear what people had to say about both Senator Obama, and Senator Clinton. I was not shocked to find out that women tend to lean more towards Senator Clinton than Senator Obama. African Americans tend to lean more toward Senator Obama. I am sad to say that I was almost expecting these results. Much like Kerry stated in an earlier email, it seems as if we want someone in office that looks like us(not just as African Americans, but as people period). I would like to pose a question to all who receive this email. I am a little worried that the Democratic party has been put in a bit of a bind. We are going for two firsts as I am sure everyone is well aware. An African American president, or a woman president. My question to all is this: Do you think that the Democratic party has a legitimate chance to win the overall election, or have we almost set ourselves up for another four years with a Republican?
I hope I have not offended anyone in this email. Like I said this is only my second election, and I would like to get opinions other than my own.

Ok family , today is National AIDS Awareness day. This story is not only VERY disturbing to say the least , but has been kept quite for the past ten months when it became somewhat public. Just goes to show you what a U.S. company is willing and capable of doing. Also if you have any of this product in your cabinet , you now know what to do with it.

This was one of the hottest house music songs for 2006 , and for us house heads we know who Barbara Tucker is. The song has a double context as it can be used in finding a new love in partner and the other is the love of God – Hence Most precious love. I like this video so much it cracks me up and the fact that they made it this way. Check out there website as well , very good house music !
Also if you want to hear some good Gospel House Music , check out this website.
Here’s a few more Classic House videos …

OK – I had to do it … LOL
“The Message” and “What’s going on ” lyrics are still relevant today. I ask is this just irony or us as a people just not “listening” then and progressing today ? Take a look at the images in the videos aswell , somethings besides the clothes , and cars , look the same today. I remember things were not always great but I remember the days in canarsie having fun and just still having that “family” structure somewhat there, which is gone in today’s society. What happened to us as a people ?

All I can say is – EXCELLENT !! Forest Whitaker actually became Idi Amin in this film.
In an incredible twist of fate, a Scottish doctor (James McAvoy) on a Ugandan medical mission becomes irreversibly entangled with one of the world’s most barbaric figures: Idi Amin (Forest Whitaker). Impressed by Dr. Garrigan’s brazen attitude in a moment of crisis, the newly self-appointed Ugandan President Amin hand picks him as his personal physician and closest confidante.

This is going to be a good movie , but at this time it’s not getting much advertisement.
The story chronicles the lives and loves of an African-American family in the deep South as they are forced to come to terms with a tumultuous past marked by an unrequited interracial affair. The film explores the way in which the family patriarch, Helm Boxer (Billy Dee Williams), must confront his demons amidst the changing racial fabric of society and his own family.

This is forwarded per Jenelle’s email –
Hey everybody. As most of you know I quit my job six months ago to pursue my writing. While most of you were supportive, some of you(and you know who you are) thought I had lost my complete mind…again.
Well, I just wanted to take a minute to let you all know that as of 6:28pm on January 10th 2007, I COMPLETED MY FIRST NOVEL!!!
I can’t even begin to tell you how that makes me feel or how proud of myself I am. I can’t speak for anyone else, but to me that’s a major accomplishment.
I learned a lot during the process too, like it takes a helluva lot longer to write a book than it does to read one.(hahahahaha) Anyway, the next step is for me to have it copyrighted and then begin submitting it to literary agents.
Thanks for all the positive energy and prayers I received from most of you and keep it coming. I’ve given a lot of parties in my lifetime, but believe me, you haven’t seen anything like the one I’m going to throw when (that’s right, I said WHEN) God blesses me with a book deal.
PS
Alice, I don’t know Debbie’s email address, please forward this to her & tell her to check her email.(smile)
